Privacy Policy

Through this website. Our inquiry form and our postcard reservation form ask for your name, business name, email address, phone number, and any message you type. If you request a reservation, we also record the postcard spots you selected.

Through Facebook and Instagram lead forms. When you respond to one of our ads through a Facebook or Instagram lead form, we receive your name, email address, phone number, business name, and your answers to the questions in that form. Facebook and Instagram collect your response under their own privacy policies before passing it along to us.

We use your information to answer your inquiry, check whether the spots you asked about are still available, follow up with you about Hello RGV postcard advertising, and send you a confirmation when you request a reservation. We also keep a record of the businesses that have asked about a mailing so we can continue the conversation and manage the campaign.

Website form submissions are stored in the database behind this site, which runs on Base44, the platform that hosts the website and stores form entries. Email is sent from our Hello RGV Gmail account through Google's Gmail service, so Google handles those messages for us. Facebook and Instagram (Meta) deliver the lead forms we receive. Google's font service loads the typefaces on this site, so Google's servers see your device's IP address when a page loads.

These providers handle information only so they can supply their service to us. We do not share your inquiry with the other businesses advertising in the campaign.

This site does not run advertising or analytics tracking. There is no Meta pixel and no Google Analytics on it, and we do not use tracking tools to follow you around the web. If a member of the Hello RGV team signs in to manage the site, a login token is saved in that browser to keep them signed in; that token is not used to track visitors.

Facebook and Instagram set their own cookies and collect information when you view or complete one of our lead forms, under Meta's privacy policy rather than ours. The typefaces on this site are served by Google Fonts, so loading a page sends a request to Google's servers. If we ever add analytics or advertising tools, we will update this page first.

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about your business, correct anything that is wrong, delete it, or stop following up with you. Email Brandon@RGVPostcards.com with your request and we will take care of it, normally within 30 days.

We keep inquiry information for up to two years after our last contact with you, and then we delete it. If you ask us to delete your information sooner, we will.

We take reasonable steps to keep your information safe. Access to the website's database is limited to the Hello RGV team, and our email is sent from a password-protected Google account. No method of storing or sending information is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

If our practices change, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. Please check back if you want to see the current version.
